Once you've commited to taking the CSEP exam, it's time to prepare for the exam! While this is an experience based exam, there are many ways to fine tune your skills.
The Exam Blueprint is a great way to assess your current skill level. Many current CSEPs have recommended reviewing this list with a highlighter in hand. Highlight those line items that you are comfortable with. Whatever is left, take time to review.
The CSEP Prep Course is a highly collaborative module series designed to help prepare event professionals seeking to earn their Certified Special Event Professional (CSEP) designation. This course provides you with an informative case study approach to the CSEP Exam Blueprint. The course is an immersive experience and requires your dedication and active participation to develop a theoretical event plan known as "The Project." Each module will be based on the CSEP Exam Blueprint and introduce templates and tools for project work. CSEP Prep will be held virtually welcoming global participants through the Zoom platform.

Because this is an experience based exam, the best way to prepare is to gain more industry experience. If you are looking to expand your knowledge base, try talking to your fellow industry members about their jobs, work for free, shadow them on an event.
