For the first year ever, in 2021, The Alberta Cancer Research Conference was hosted in a fully virtual capacity, which spanned over three days in October. Due to the event being hosted online, they were able to attract attendees from other regions of Canada and even international audiences! After over 600 hours of planning, maintaining communication with 6 committees, and nearly 140 speakers to coordinate, this was truly an event to be proud of.
