The client’s goal for this event was to celebrate their hard-working employees as the stars of their company’s "universe". The attendees were also event planners themselves, so Hello Destination Management was presented with the challenge of making the event a supplier showcase too. This required their design and production teams to incorporate not only new products and services from vendors into the evening, but also products they had been using for years brought to life in new and innovative ways. The client wanted every stage of the evening to wow guests. Due to hotel construction, planning and execution of this event was especially challenging.
Based on client initiatives Hello Destination Management developed a “Celestial Celebration” featuring a progressive evening that featured a large variety of performances and atmospheres to showcase vendors and entertain every attendee. The night began with a cocktail reception, followed by a glamorous awards program, dinner under the aurora borealis, and two exclusive “Solar Opposites” after party experiences. There really was something for everyone during this seamless progressive evening. This certainly kept guests happy, but required the team to think outside the box when it came to show flow and planning each of these experiences that essentially operated as individual events throughout the night.
