Anniversary Celebration

As San Diego’s largest business networking opportunity of the year, the Anniversary Celebration is the can’t miss event for anyone wanting to make connections, build relationships, and learn something new. This annual event brings together over 1,000 of San Diego’s business executives, community leaders, and elected officials who share the same interest: making San Diego the best place in California to do business. I was most proud of the speaker and the time-saving format of the event. Listening to previous attendee feedback, we shortened the dinner time by combining networking with heavy appetizers so that attendees could eat while they network, which still gave us time for the program, where they heard from an inspirational speaker. During the program, attendees enjoyed desserts at their seats, which was another time-saver.

Builder's Bash

Style Perfect Events worked with the local Our Towns Habitat for Humanity affiliate to create, brand and market an annual signature fundraising event to raise money ($75K in the first year) and create excitement for years to come about supporting the non-profit's mission of everyone deserves decent and affordable housing. The event took place on a beautiful September evening. Guests danced to live music from the Next Level Band of Charlotte, enjoy a branded photo-booth experience, donated wine and beer, and heavy hors d’oeuvres. The event sponsors and VIPs, 50 guests, were greeted with a signature cocktail. An energetic live auction and the opportunity to fund the need for affordable housing gave everyone the chance to make a difference for families in the community. We are most proud of the buzz we were able to create about the Builder's Bash with an amazing guest experience and we met our financial goal of raising $75,000 and having proceeds go to build a new Habitat home in the greater Lake Norman area.

Alex and the team at (add)ventures recently produced an experiential marketing project in Las Vegas that brought to life the client’s approach around collaboration, partnership and the launch of a new remote sensing technology for natural catastrophes for the insurance industry. This included the production of two videos, a keynote speech, audience engagement tools and the design of 25-foot inflatable dome that created an immersive sensory experience with curved LED boards, special effects, audio and lighting elements.

A 5-day incentive trip that took place in Puerto Vallarta at the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit. We managed the design, planning, production, and execution and worked to fill the week with WOW moments. The final night which was branded the “Color of Life" as seen in photo attached, is inspired by the movie “CoCo.”

Taste of Sonoma

Taste of Sonoma is a spectacular event in Sonoma County, California where attendees taste their way through a microcosm of Sonoma County’s most incredible flavors. My role in Taste of Sonoma is the Event Producer. I am the primary staff lead for planning, production and execution of the event, and am the primary liaison with the host venue, staff, operations team, and vendors. I am responsible for delivering all aspects of the event including layout, budget management, staffing and volunteer plans, and final reports. I am most proud of significantly reducing event costs, while still delivering a high-end event. I am also proud that we loaded out 200 vendors in under an hour.
