ILEA and The National Society of Black Wedding and Event Professionals (NSBWEP) Announce Partnership to Promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Event Industry

McLean VA- The International Live Events Association and the National Society of Black Wedding and Event Professionals are pleased to announce their continuing partnership in a joint effort to promote diversity and inclusion in the event industry. The partnership between ILEA and NSBWEP aims to create a more diverse and inclusive environment in the event industry by providing resources and support to underrepresented groups.  NSBWEP is pleased to partner with ILEA on industry events and extend ILEA chapters access to its speaker talent pool. These professionals will share their expertise with ILEA chapters that help provide diverse content at both the international and chapter levels.

The partnership will also include joint events, educational opportunities, and social media engagements designed to support the growth and success of black and other underrepresented professionals in the event industry. “NSBWEP is thrilled to again partner with ILEA to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the event industry.” said Tara Melvin, founder, president, and CEO of NSBWEP. “Having strategic partners like ILEA allows us to share information and resources to create professional opportunities for the diverse communities we serve.”
